Overview
SP-1044 is excellent for use in curing butyl rubbers and elastomers. When used in combination with halogen and zinc donors, it yields butyl vulcanizates with outstanding resistance to high heat and compression set.
Vulcanizates cured with SP-1044 are nonblooming and nonstaining and have high modulus values.
