Overview
MERPOL® HCS is a high cloud point surfactant that improves wetting and solution stabilization properties. It can be used in textiles as a scouring agent to remove oils and sizing agents at 1-3% addition levels. It is also used as a leveling agent and stabilizer in textiles, pigments, and printing inks. MERPOL® HCS is also utilized as a penetrating agent to improve the bleaching efficacy of chlorine and peroxides.
