DOWTHERM™ T is a liquid phase synthetic heat transfer fluid composed of Alkyl Benzene designed for use in non-pressurized systems in liquid Phase Thermal Transfer Applications (-10°C to 315°C)
DOWTHERM™ T is a synthetic heat transfer fluid based on a mixture of alkyl benzenes (C14-C30) for use in non-pressurized liquid systems -10°C to 288°C (14°F to 550°F) and max bulk temperature of 315°C (600°F). DOWTHERM™ T fluid exhibits favorable physical properties, low vapor pressure at the maximum use temperature due to it high flash and fire point between 188°C and 210°C. At the same time it provides good low temperature properties and exceptional stability at high temperature operations.
DOWTHERM™ T provides incredibly long fluid life and excellent heat transfer across a very broad range of applications, including oil and gas processing, plastic processing, chemical processing, solar energy, heat recovery, industrial boilers, mechanical heating etc.
