ROBOND™ PS-7874-K is an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive used to manufacture paper labels that provide high performance in room, refrigerator, and freezer temperatures. The adhesive is based on an acrylic emulsion with good coatability onto difficult-to-wet release liners. It offers great flow and leveling on label stock and excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates, such as plastics, paperboard, and glass. ROBOND™ PS-7874-K’s adhesive properties are optimized for high tack and balanced peel and shear strength.
Poor wetting and leveling on release liners or label stock
Adhesive failure on plastic, fibrous, or glass substrates
Use of solvent-based chemistry that poses a risk to health and the environment
Low durability of labels used in low temperatures
