DOWTHERM™ SR-1 is an inhibited ethylene glycol–based heat transfer fluid for industrial thermal transfer processes. DOWTHERM™ SR-1 is the most commonly used thermal fluid and is widely recognized as the industry standard in numerous applications.
DOWTHERM™ SR-1 offers effective heat transfer over a broad operating temperature range from −60°F to 250°F (−51°C to 121°C). DOWTHERM™ SR-1 provides freeze protection to −60°F and burst protection to −100°F.
DOWTHERM™ SR-1 has been dyed a fluorescent pink-purple color for easy leak detection and identification.
