Product Overview

DOWTHERM™ SR-1 is an inhibited ethylene glycol-based heat transfer fluid for industrial thermal transfer processes. DOWTHERM™ SR-1 is the most commonly used thermal fluid and is widely recognized as the industry standard in numerous applications.

DOWTHERM™ SR-1 offers effective heat transfer over a broad operating temperature range from -60°F to 250° F (-51°C to 121°C). DOWTHERM™ SR-1 provides freeze protection down to -60°F and burst protection down to 100°F.

DOWTHERM™ SR-1 has been dyed a fluorescent pink/purple color for easy leak detection and identification.
