LOCTITE® 609™ retaining compound is a powerful adhesive designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, such as bearings, lock bushings, cylindrical shafts, subfractional horsepower motors, and augmenting press fits. It is a high-strength, low-viscosity anaerobic adhesive that fills the gaps between close fitting mating metal surfaces and cures when confined in the absence of air, creating a strong, secure bond.
LOCTITE® 609™ is specifically formulated to enhance the performance of cylindrical assemblies, providing maximum load transmissions and preventing any movement or loosening of parts due to vibrations, shock, or impacts.
