LOCTITE® 680™ is an advanced adhesive solution that provides high strength retaining performance and exceptional bonding and securing for a wide range of applications. These compounds are formulated to create a strong, durable bond between close-fitting metal surfaces, such as active mild steel and passive substrates, such as stainless steel and plated surfaces. It is used for the bonding of close fitting cylindrical fitting parts, such as shafts, retaining sleeves, pulleys, rotors, gears, mounting sleeves, bushings, and more, with a robust curing performance due to its anaerobic formulation.
The superior physical properties of LOCTITE® 680™ provides excellent resistance to minor surface contaminations from various oils as well as high temperature performance, ensuring a strong bond in demanding environments. It also prevents loosening and leakage commonly caused by shock and vibration during operation.
