Overview
SilGrip™ PSA590LD is a solution grade silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. It consists of polysiloxane gum and resin at 60% solids in toluene. Due to the silicone back bone of the adhesive, SilGrip™ PSA590LD offers excellent hold in temperatures up to 500°F and is resistant to attack from chemicals and microbes. SilGrip™ PSA590LD exhibits excellent adhesion to most substrates including low energy surfaces such as silicone release liner. SilGrip™ PSA590LD can be used as supplied or thinned using compatible solvents and coated onto substrates using conventional coating methods.

SilGrip™ PSA590LD is commonly used in splicing tapes for silicone release liners due to these aggressive adhesion properties.
SilGrip™ PSA590LD can be coated onto films or fabrics using conventional tape coating equipment to manufacture industrial tapes.
