Glyclean® 70% has been designed to meet the stringent needs of consumers and formulators in the household and industrial cleaning space. Glycolic acid combines a unique set of characteristics that enable it for formulations as either a standalone active or part of a blend to boost performance in cleaning formulations.
Glyclean® 70%, glycolic acid, is the organic acid of choice for cleaning and disinfecting applications. Glycolic acid in formulation will have cleaning performance superior to citric or lactic acid alone. Glycolic acid is also less toxic, less corrosive, and easier to handle than mineral acids, HCL (muriatic acid), oxalic, and sulfamic acid.
Glycolic acid is a natural trace element found in sugarcane, beets, grapes, and various fruits. PureTech Scientific synthesizes their glycolic acid through a sustainable manufacturing process in Belle, WV.
