Solutions of SeaSpen® GP379 can be produced by dispersing the polymer in cold water and then heating the dispersion above the solubility temperature. The solution of SeaSpen® GP379 in water will ten form a soft gel upon cooling. The thermally reversible gelation property of SeaSpen® GP379 combined with the food contact approval make it an ideal thickener for industrial applications that are related to food packaging and production.
