EXTRACT-2 is an EPA registered, and USDA approved (D2), no-rinse sanitizer for usage in food processing, milk processing, farm premises, laundry facilities, and various other applications.
EXTRACT-2 is a Sodium Hypochlorite based EPA registered sanitizer for usage in a wide range of industries. EXTRACT-2 is often the most economical and effective sanitizer for food contact and processing surface due to the high concentration of active, and stability across a broad pH range.
EXTRACT-2 is approved for pre-treatment cleaning prior to sanitization as a booster for alkaline foaming and non-foaming detergents for food processing equipment. EXTRACT-2 is also an EPA approved and USDA approved sanitizer for nonporous food contact surfaces.
EXTRACT-2 is unique in that it is approved for usage for multiple cleaning methods: rinse, immersion, clean-in-place, spray method. EXTRACT-2 is also approved and widely used in agricultural uses such as food egg sanitization, fruit, and vegetable washing. Farm premise sanitization is also an approved application. EXTRACT-2 is also EPA registered for water treatment and sanitation for municipal water and well water treatment.

Food Contact Sanitizing Performance:
-Effectiveness in 2 minutes at 200 ppm (active) with prior rinse required
Agricultural uses
-Food Egg Sanitization in 2 minutes at 200 ppm (active) with rinse temperature less than 130°F
-Fruit and Vegetable Washing in 2 mins at 25 ppm (active) with recirculating solution with a potable water rinse prior to packaging.
Disinfection of drinking water (Public / Individual Systems)
-Public systems 0.2-0.6 ppm (active) throughout the distribution system with regular testing via a chlorine test kit
-Individual systems – dug wells upon completion of the casing (lining) wash casing with 100 ppm (active) with 24 hours after pumping, then flush well until the active is removed
