Overview
This 5% lutein beadlet grade contains finely dispersed free lutein and zeaxanthin (natural and nonesterified) extracted from marigold flowers in a matrix of non-GMO modified starch and glucose syrup. DL-alpha tocopherol and sodium ascorbate are added to maintain product quality over the shelf life. It is part of the Divi’s CaroQuik line specifically formulated for rapid delivery in cold-water applications.

Applications
Lutein may only be used as a nutritional additive for eye health products following US dietary supplement regulations. For products to be sold in the EU, lutein may be used as a natural alternative to yellow food coloring.
This grade is ideal for rapid water-dissolving applications, such as powdered drink mixes, stick packs, effervescent tablets, and other instant beverages. It can also be used in tablets, gummies, and hard-shell capsules.
