Overview
Alcarbon® DC 80x325 from Donau Carbon is a specially formulated activated carbon manufactured from coconut shells for highly porous, highly adsorptive materials. It is especially recommended for special filter applications requiring high abrasion resistance and high retentivity for contaminants and organic substances. This granular adsorbent exhibits a high internal surface area and offers an iodine adsorption capacity of 1,100 mg/g, ensuring excellent efficiency in removing organic substances, chlorine, and undesirable tastes from gaseous and liquid phases. It can be used in applications such as air pollution control, water treatment, and protective filter applications.
