Desorex® K 4-70 is an innovative activated carbon compound (CAS number 7440-44-0) recommended for use in gas-cleaning processes due to its extremely high porosity and large interior surface area. These properties facilitate excellent adsorption of organic substances, siloxanes, and solvents. Desorex® K 4-70 exhibits excellent hardness and abrasion resistance with an apparent density of 520 kg/m³ and a ball pan hardness of 98% by weight.
