Overview
Desorex® PI 50 K is a steam-activated carbon compound based on coal produced by Donau Carbon using a specialty production process. It is available in solid-black-pellet form and has an apparent density of 500 kg/m³ and a CTC adsorption of greater than 6% by weight. Due to its extremely high porosity and large internal surface area, it can absorb a wide variety of gaseous and liquid organic substances for the purification of gases and air. It is especially useful in the treatment of unwanted odors in sewage treatment plants and other air and gas treatment applications.
