Hydraffin^® CC 12x40 spezial is a highly effective activated carbon designed for demanding water treatment and purification processes. It is produced by Donau Carbon, with exceptional chemical purity and quality, providing a granular, acid-washed structure. It can absorb a wide range of contaminants, including COD, AOX, pollutants, organic substances, free chlorine, and other trace substances, due to its high porosity and large internal surface area of 1,150 m²/g. It also has a ball pan hardness of over 98% and a low ash content of less than 2%, providing durability and resistance to abrasions.
