ROBOND™ PS-8942 is a water-based acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive intended for use in semipermanent applications with labels and graphic arts.
ROBOND™ PS-8942 is an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive used to create semipermanent adhesion in packaging, label, and graphic arts applications. It may be coated onto PVC, PE, or PP films using reverse gravure coating techniques. ROBOND™ PS-8942 builds moderate peel and high shear strength, allowing it to be relatively easily and cleanly removed from a variety of substrates. As such, it is typically used in resealable packaging and temporary graphic arts applications. The adhesive has excellent resistance to plasticizer migration, UV, water whitening, and blush. Due to its high shear strength, it also resists creep and shrinkage well.
