ISO 460 polyalkylene glycol designed for use in synthetic coolants for low-temperature, ferrous and nonferrous metalworking operations.
UCON™ 1281 is a medium viscosity water-soluble synthetic lubricating oil originally developed for use as the main component of the lubricity package of synthetic coolants used in low temperature metalworking operations, such as, can-drawing, stamping and cold rolling. UCON™ 1281 exhibits a a viscosity of 399-486 cSt @ 37.8 °C. UCON™ 1281 also delivers anti-foam performance expected in an oil-based defoamer package.
