Eastman Hydroquinone Industrial Photographic is an industrial grade of hydroquinone (HQ) that reacts quickly with oxygen to prevent free radical polymerization. HQ is an economical and good general-purpose inhibitor, antioxidant, and stabilizer. Along with being used as a primary inhibitor, HQ is also used as an intermediate to manufacture other inhibitors, antioxidants, stabilizers, agricultural chemicals, and dyes.
