RESIDHERE AB 180 is a gum rosin valued for its use as an emulsifying agent in the polymerization and preparation of rubber polymers via emulsion polymerization. It may also be used in cement and mortar, providing high resistance to oxidation and decreased concrete density. RESIDHERE AB 180 is obtained via a disproportionation process that converts abietic acid into dehydroabietic acid, resulting in a 37% minimum dehydroabietic acid content and 0.7% maximum abietic acid content.
