BONDERITE^® L-FG DG 349 ACHESON

BONDERITE^® L-FG DG 349 ACHESON (previously known as ACHESON DELTAGLAZE 349) is a high-performance coating that protects and lubricates titanium alloys during precision forging and extruding operations between 1500 to 1800 °F. BONDERITE^® L-FG DG 349 ACHESON is composed of specialty glass and organic resin, and dries in a matter of minutes following application. This lubricant provides excellent finish, high adhesion, and controlled metal flow, while lowering oxidation and gas absorption. BONDERITE^® L-FG DG 349 ACHESON can be easily removed from forged parts via sand-blasting or salt bath. A suitable Deltaforge die lubricant should be used with BONDERITE^® L-FG DG 349 ACHESON to prevent glass transfer to the dies and ensure good die lubrication and release. Spraying is recommended for an even, consistent coating, but BONDERITE^® L-FG DG 349 ACHESON can also be dipped or applied with a brush.
