BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 ACHESON

BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 ACHESON, also known as Deltaforge GP151, is a water-based, cost-effective graphite die lubricant suitable for warm, hot, and precision forging processes. The microfine graphite dispersion provides exceptional lubrication and release properties for a wide variety of forged components. The lubricant also delivers excellent wetting performance from 93°C to 371°C (200°F to 700°F) for easy release on difficult press work and automated operations, improved part quality, and reduced scrap and rework. Additionally, it prevents deposit buildup in the die cavity to prolong die life, reduce cleaning cycles, and prevent scale pit formation. Spray or flood systems should be used to apply BONDERITE® L-FG GP 151 ACHESON onto the die. It is delivered in concentrate form and needs to be diluted before use. The recommended starting dilution ratio is one part product to ten parts water. A more concentrated fluid may be required for tooling at temperatures greater than 316°C (600°F).
