Thetawet™ FS-8250 is a high-performance surfactant containing short-chain fluorosurfactant technology designed to optimize wetting and leveling in water-based coating, paint, and adhesive formulations. With 28% active solids, this aqueous, anionic emulsion effectively lowers the surface tension of materials, enhancing film spreading, film formation, and block resistance on difficult-to-wet surfaces, including plastics, glass, metals, oily substrates, waxy surfaces, and fluoropolymer-treated fabrics. Thetawet™ FS-8250 contributes a range of other benefits to formulations, including reduced-foaming properties, enhanced gloss development, improved pigment wetting, extended open time, and resistance to soiling and weathering. Thetawet™ FS-8250 should be added to water-based systems at a level of 0.05% to 0.25% and to solvent-based systems at a level of 0.25% to 0.75%.
