Alpha-Cel® CP40 is a high-purity powdered cellulose manufactured by JRS USA, derived from plants for a naturally derived, biodegradable insoluble fiber. It is an odorless, brown, fibrous powder with a neutral pH of 5.0 to 7.0 and a bulk volume of 240 to 270 cc/50 g. Its excellent physical and chemical characteristics allow it to act as a multifunctional additive for a wide range of applications, including coatings, cosmetics, paints, ceramics, glues, enzymes, and rubbers. Alpha-Cel® CP40 is also insoluble in water and oil, ensuring exceptional compatibility with various ingredients and excellent formulation stability.
