Overview
BroShield® 59-B is a brominated flame retardant used in thermoplastic and thermoset resin systems. BroShield® 59-B has very good structural compatibility making it suitable for use in epoxy resin systems. The high purity of 59-B makes it an effective reactive flame retardant for polycarbonates and an additive for styrenic thermoplastics, such as ABS and high-impact polystyrene.
