TraSys® 809 is a PTFE, high-temperature mold release coating designed for hot mold applications using a water-based dispersion.
Stoner TraSys® 809 fluorochemical mold release has a variety of applications, including coating for rubbers, plastics, epoxy, and plastic laminates. It functions as an excellent release coating in high temperatures, and the coating does not interfere with post-finishing operations. It uses a water-based dispersion that exhibits outstanding durability and antistick properties throughout the process, making TraSys® 809 the superior choice for the compression and transfer molding of most rubber compounds, including EPDM, nitrile, SBR, silicone, and more.
