TraSys® 817 is a mold release coating for rubbers, plastics, and epoxy and plastic laminates. TraSys® 817 comprises a water-based dispersion that offers excellent mold release properties for hot mold applications. When applied to molds, TraSys® 817 offers superior durability and release capabilities. As a release agent, TraSys® 817 has a very low coefficient of friction. Molded silicone, rubber, and fluoropolymers that utilize compression, transfer, and injection molding will benefit from outstanding mold release capabilities. TraSys® 817 is prediluted, nonstaining, nonoily, clean, chemically inert, and withstands extreme processing temperatures.
