Tyzor® IAM is a titanium based phosphate complex that is used in printing inks to improve adhesion, decrease drying time, and improve chemical resistance.

Tyzor® IAM is a titanate that was developed specifically for use in gravure and flexographic inks. It will cross link polymers and binder commonly used in printing ink formulations like nitrocellulose to reduce drying time and increase resistance to solvents, moisture, and heat. Tyzor® IAM also helps to improve the adhesion of inks to non-absorbing films and foils based on polyolefin, polyester, PVC, polyamide, aluminum, and metallized plastic. The benefits of Tyzor® IAM in inks are typically realized at relatively low addition rates of 1-4% by weight of the total formulation.
