Tyzor® PITA-SM is an organic titanium chelate mixed with a silane. It is commonly used in silicone sealants and adhesives as a cross linker and curing agent.

Tyzor® PITA-SM is a titanium ethyl acetoacetate complex mixed with a methyl-trimethoxy silane.
Tyzor® PITA-SM is used in silicone sealants and adhesives as a curing agent and adhesion promoter. It has high reactivity at low temperatures allowing it to cross link with common functional groups including hydroxyl and carboxyl functionality. Tyzor® PITA-SM is an ideal option for silanol end-capped polymers such as polypropylene oxides, acrylates, or polyurethanes. It also can be used as a binding and adhesion-promoting additive in paints and coatings.
