The hydrocarbon heptane is a nonpolar, straight-chain liquid alkane with a gasolinelike odor and a molecular formula of C7H16. n-Heptane 99 Pure has a flash point of 25°F, a boiling point of 208°F, a vapor pressure of 1.60 psi at 100°F, and a molecular weight of 100.23 g/mol.
