Overview
BONDERITE® L-FG ES 14006 ACHESON is a water-based billet coating typically used on stainless steel, nickel, and superalloys. It effectively improves surface finish and lubrication during isothermal and hot forging at temperatures between 1850°F and 2350°F (1010°C and 1288°C). BONDERITE® L-FG ES 14006 ACHESON is a concentrate that can be used as is or diluted with water. Spraying is the best application method as it creates a consistent, uniform coating that provides greater reliability and performance. Billet should be well cleaned and heated to 150°F–200°F (65°C–93°C) before application.
