Overview
BONDERITE® L-AD M 200 ACHESON (previously known as Molydag 200) is a dispersed form of ultrafine molydenum disulfide particles suspended in highly refined petroleum oil. BONDERITE® L-AD M 200 ACHESON is used as a lubricant additive to improve the extreme pressure, anti-wear, and lubricity performance. With consistent use, this molybdenum additive creates a tough, mirror-like film of MoS2 on metal surfaces that provides anti-friction capabilities up to 750 °F, and higher in the absence of oxygen. This solid MoS2 film allows oil to spread quickly and replenish interrupted films to prevent metal-to-metal contact.
