BONDERITE^® L-GP LS 2127 (previously known as ACHESON LS-2127) is a boron nitride protective coating for laser drilling, brazing, and welding, as well as a precoat lubricant and die lubricant for isothermal forming processes. The lubricant provides high-temperature protection and anti-stick performance for non-ferrous alloys up to 1649°C (3000°F). In forming applications, it can extend die life and cycle times. BONDERITE^® L-GP LS 2127 can be brushed, dipped, or sprayed. For brushed applications, it can be used as received or diluted 1:1 with water. For dipping and precoating applications, the work surface should be preheated to 121°C–149°C (250°F–300°F). For spray applications, BONDERITE^® L-GP LS 2127 should be diluted 1:3 with water. Ensure the product is mixed before application or dilution and work surfaces are properly cleaned.
