Overview
Calcium stearate is a carboxylate which is formed from stearic acid and calcium oxide. Its primary uses are as a flow agent, stabilizer, thickener, and surface conditioner.  Calcium Stearate Regular, Powder acts as a catalyst neutralizer and lubricant in various polymer resins, such as polypropylene (PP). This particular grade of calcium stearate is in powder form and offers multiple performance benefits depending on your application.
Features & Benefits
- Great in uses such as thin fibers and films as a waterproofing agent
- Release agent, lubricant, and anti-tack for plastics
- In plastics, it may act as an acid scavenger or neutralizer
- Does not melt but will reach the plastic phase at a normal processing temperature
- Great catalyst/neutralizer
- Efflorescence control of cement, concrete  and masonry for hydrophobic benefits
Problems Solved
High cost of refined calcium stearates for use in ceramics and industrial applications
