EFOX^® 30 is a high-purity tert-butyl peroxybenzoate designed as a free radical initiator for polymerization and copolymerization reactions. It can be used in the copolymerization of a wide range of resins, including ethylene, styrene, vinyl acetate, vinyl ester, acrylonitrile, acrylate, and methacrylate, providing rapid reaction initiation. It can also be used to cure unsaturated polyester resins or in combination with high-reactivity peroxides for pultrusion formulations at a temperature range of 100°C to 150°C. This aromatic perester is compliant with various regulatory requirements, including REACH regulations EC No 1907/2006 and EC No 1272/2008 and Commission Regulation EU No 2015/830.
