Overview
DOWFROST™ inhibited propylene glycol heat transfer fluid is a best-in-class, food-grade thermal fluid for a wide range of heat transfer applications. DOWFROST™ is comprised of ~96% propylene glycol and 4% corrosion inhibitors to protect and extend equipment life.
All ingredients have been classified as GRAS (generally recognized as safe) by the FDA and are approved as direct food additives. DOWFROST™ is the industry-standard thermal fluid for food processing applications.
DOWFROST™ exhibits effective heat transfer from −50°F to 250°F (−45°C to 120°C) and can offer freeze protection or burst protection down to −60°F.
DOWFROST™ is made from Dow PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP, monopropylene glycol for the highest-quality and longest-lasting performance.
DOWFROST™ is available in a range of prediluted concentrations in DI water and package sizes.
