Overview
Momentive CLS 5000 CLR is a 67A-durometer, two two-component, self-bonding liquid silicone rubber that is biocompatible and offers bonding to a variety of substrates, such as glass-filled nylon, polysulfone, PBT, steel, and aluminum, without a bonding agent. CLS 5000 CLR is transparent, allowing it to be easily pigmentable for injection molding production of high-performance elastomeric parts. This grade of liquid silicone rubber offers healthcare devices such as IV valves, surgical instruments, and sealing elements with biocompatibility and primerless adhesion properties.
