Overview
Element14™ PDMS 50 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of 50 centipoise (cps). Element14™ PDMS fluids can stay in liquid form over a wide range of temperatures and pressures. Accordingly, they are used in applications that require fluid properties in harsh environments. In mechanically demanding applications, they provide excellent shear stability and good lubrication and slip. Element14™ PDMS 50 is a polymer that can stay in liquid form at conditions that cause organic polymers to become greases, waxes, or solids. This grade can be used as a water repellent or antifoam agent for a wide range of applications.
