Overview
LIM™ 8040 is an self bonding injection molding silicone rubber material with FDA approval. It offers adhesion to a variety of metals and engineered plastics without the use of a primer. The self bonding property of LIM 8040 makes it a cost effective solution for multi component injection molding or insert molding. LIM 8040 meets the requirements of food contact and has been tested for USP class VI.
