Overview
EPOLENE® E-20P polymer is an oxidized, low–molecular weight polyethylene wax with exceptional hardness, medium density, and low color. It is an emulsifiable polyethylene wax primarily used in coating and plastic processing applications. EPOLENE® E-20P, with its low softening point and low viscosity, facilitates short drying times and provides excellent gloss in coating applications. EPOLENE® E-20P is ideal for creating polyethylene fruit coatings to preserve freshness. Though EPOLENE® E-20P is emulsifiable, pressure equipment is required to create emulsions.
The EPOLENE® E-20P polyethylene wax polymer is also excellent for high-speed buffable floor finishes. Here, the polyethylene wax improves the buffability and durability of floor finishes. Emulsions utilizing the EPOLENE® E-20P will exhibit high gloss, good rub resistance, and improved surface lubricity.
