Overview
EPOLENE® N-21P is a low molecular weight, medium density polyethylene with excellent solvent and grease resistance. It is used in a variety of applications including cable filling, hot melt adhesives, cosmetics, printing inks, traffic paint, and color concentrates. In printing inks EPOLENE® N-21P works to lower the coefficient of friction and improve scuff and rub resistance. It can also be added to hot melt adhesive formulations to adjust viscosity and reduce sag. EPOLENE® N-21P is also used in cable and wire filling applications where it improves slump resistance of the composition. Additionally, it is used as a pigment dispersant for color concentrates used in plastics applications.
