Dorf Ketal Speciality Catalyst division is the market leader in environmentally responsible organic titanate and zirconate technologies used in hundreds of applications, from food packaging and printing to plastics, paints, sealants and glass coatings. Versatile Tyzor® organic titanates and zirconates are highly effective catalysts and crosslinkers, surface modifiers and reagents and are manufactured in Dorf Ketal's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in the Port of Mundra, India, using processes that are highly integrated all the way back to titanium ore. Dorf Ketal products are differentiated by their ability to reduce operating cost, increase production throughput and/or enhance customer product quality and market value.
A reactive organic alkoxy titanate with 100% active content less sensitive to moisture than Tyzor TPT and TnBT
Similar to Tyzor BTP TiO2 Content: 12.7% Active Content: 100 % Color: Colorless to Yellow Density (20C): 1.03 g/mL Viscosity (20C): 3500 mPa*s Pour Point: -55C Flash Point: 40C Solubility in Solvents: Miscible in most organic solvents Solubility in Water: Decomposes Similar to Tyzor BTP It can also act as a binder itself, used as an additive in sealants to crosslink -OH or -COOH functional polymers, binders or promote adhesion.
Tyzor™ PITA SM is a mixture of titanium ethyl acetoacetate complex with 100% active content and methyl-trimethoxy silane.
Tyzor PITA-SM is designed as a curing agent for silicone based sealants and adhesives. Its high reactivity at low temperatures enables it to react with common functional groups such as R-OH, M-OH, SiOH, or R-COOH to effect cure rate, crosslinking and adhesion promotion. TiO2 Content: ca. 15.2% Active Content: ca. 80% Color: Yellow to Orange Density (20 C): ca. 1.08 g/ml Viscosity (20 C): ca. 8 mPa*s Pour Point: < -10 C Boiling Point: ca. 102 C (Solvent) Flash Point: ca. 32 C Solubility in Solvents: Miscible in most organic solvents Solubility in water: Decomposes Tyzor PITA-SM in silicone sealants and adhesives promotes adhesion, crosslinks silanes, increases cure rate and acts as a drying agent. It can also provide these benefits when used with silanol end-capped polymers such as polypropylene oxides, acrylates, or polyurethanes. They can also be used as additives in paints to cross-link functional polymers or binders, act as binders or promote adhesion.
Aromatic diamine used in polyurea, polyurethane foam elastomer applications.
Unilink 4200 is an easy to handle di-functional aromatic diamine that is low in toxicity, relatively insensitive to moisture and compatible with a wide range of co-curative and other components. Due to relatively low reactivity, Unilink 4200 can be used in TDI or MDI formulations, and cross-linking can be controlled by adding higher functioning polyols Appearance Clear: light-to-dark-brown liquid Hydroxyl number: 362 Flash point, PMCC, °C (°F), min: 161 (321.8) Specific gravity @ 26.7 °C (80 °F): 0.98 to 0.99 Density, g/cm3 (lb/gal): 0.995 (8.3 ) Water content, ppm, max: 500 Molecular weight: 310 Equivalent weight, min: 153 Easy to handle and environmentally friendly liquid (Ames negative) Low moisture sensitivity Compatible with polyurethanes, most polyols, and curatives Excellent storage stability in polyether and polyester polyols. Cures TDI and MDI coating compounds at ambient temperature Polyurea Systems Unilink 4200 improves gel time, flow and allows the polyurea coatings to be processed by spray or pour techniques. Adhesion to the substrate and surface finishes improve, and so does bonding between coats. Cured systems have excellent physical properties and exhibit significant improvements in impact resistance and low-temperature performance. Flexible foams Unilink 4200 improves tensile, tear and load-bearing properties In standard TDI and high-resilience slabstock foam systems, often at lower foam densities, and significantly improves polyester foam tear strength and load-bearing. It reduces density and softens cold-molded foams, producing higher tensile strength, tear and elongation, along with improved mold flow and decreased de-mold times. Rigid foams Rigid foams cured with UNILINK 4200 show significant improvements in compressive strength and dimensional stability with reduced friability, a higher percentage of closed cells and lower K-factor. Compressive strength improves by up to 100% in PIR foams, and dimensional stability also is significantly enhanced. Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Elastomers Formulations cured with UNILINK 4200 adhere better and develop smoother surface finishes.
