Janssen PMP offers various pyrithione-based antimicrobials under the PYRION brand to reduce microbrial growth in various applications. Zinc Pyrion can be used as an antimicrobial agent in the plastics industry to safely protect against microorganisms. Zinc Pyrion is also regulated by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and approved for preservative use in indirect food contact applications by the FDA.
