About METHOCEL™

METHOCEL™ is a line of methylcellulose and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose cellulose ether polymers.  Naturally derived from wood or cotton linter pulp, METHOCEL™ polymers are nonionic, water-soluble thickening agents, stabilizers, and rheology modifiers.  METHOCEL™ provides binding, stabilization, and film-formation properties that are key to various industries, including agriculture, ceramics, household cleaners, PVC, paints, coatings, inks, and adhesives.
