HOW DOES IT WORK?

Glypure® Glycolic acid from PureTech Scientific, previously manufactured by Chemours, is used in a wide variety of skin-lightening products as the active ingredient or in combination with other skincare acids. It is known for its use in anti-aging creams, glycolic acid peels, acne treatment, and skin regeneration products.

The small molecular size of Glypure® allows it to penetrate the skin more efficiently, potentially enhancing the results of complementary ingredients, such as kojic acid and hydroquinone. Glypure® readjusts water percentages in the epidermis, stimulates collagen synthesis, and promotes cell turnover/desquamation. Glycolic acid may also inhibit tyrosinase activity, the enzyme responsible for melanin synthesis. It also helps with removing dark spots and is suitable for use on different skin types.
