HORGEN, Switzerland, December 8, 2008 - Dow Performance Fluids, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”), announced that it has extended its marketing relationship with specialty and fine chemical e-distributor ChemPoint for High Temperature Heat Transfer Fluids (DOWTHERM TM, SYLTHERM TM). Beginning January 1, 2009, Dow will expand this relationship to the following countries in Europe: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal and Italy. It is agreed that ChemPoint will provide marketing, sales, customer service and order fulfillment for customers in above mentioned countries.
Dow chose to work with ChemPoint to quickly implement an enhanced customer service strategy by closely monitoring the status of synthetic fluid and customer needs.
