Huntsman Forges Strategic Partnership with ChemPoint.com for JEFFSOL® Carbonates in the United States

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, October 18, 2010 – The Performance Products division of Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN) today announced that it has selected ChemPoint.com, a leading e-distributor of specialty and fine chemicals, as the primary distributor of JEFFSOL® alkylene carbonates for the CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers) markets in the United States.  Effective immediately, ChemPoint.com will provide marketing, sales, and the complete order fulfillment process from order placement to delivery to technical support for all JEFFSOL® products.
 
JEFFSOL® carbonates are less hazardous than and can replace products such as methylene chloride, acetone, aromatic solvents and other highly volatile solvents.  Carbonates can also be used as reactive intermediates replacing ethylene and propylene glycols in many reactions.
