AKPA’s organic peroxides, such as those included in the AKPEROX^® line, are catalysts and initiators used to modify resins, compounds, and elastomers in various industrial applications such as fiberglass manufacturing, gel coatings, filament winding, polymer concrete, and pultrusion. These peroxides, including MEKP, dibenzoyl peroxide, and tert-butyl peroxybenzoate, react and decompose to form organic free radicals that initiate polymerization, cross-linking, and curing.
