Product Description

Chemical reference fuels are used to establish the quality or performance characteristics of various fuels used in commercial and industrial applications. ASTM D2699 and ASTM D2700 are the test methods used by refineries and testing labs that typically require these primary reference fuels for fuel characterization and octane rating determination.

Reference fuels are not generally used as fuels in transportation vehicles.
